Quick Meat Pie - Poured Meat Pie

Make this Quick Meat Pie for a lunch or strong breakfast. Easy and tasty!

Ingredients:
300 gr (that is 2.4 cups) of flour,
1 tsp of salt,
1/2 tsp of baking powder,
1 Tbsp of milk,
1 egg,
1 Tbsp of oil
water

300 gr (0.66 lb) of chopped meat (beef) into tiny cubes or minced meat.

For soaking:
1 dcl of milk

For the topping:
180 gr (1.5 cups) of sour cream, a little bit of milk and salt.

If you wish, you can add 20gr (1,5 tablespoon) of butter as well.



Season the meat with paprika, vegetable season, salt, papper and if you wish add powdered garlic too.

Put in a bowl all the engredients for the dough. 

Gradually add water until you reach a constistency like for pancakes. You should get a lump free mixture.

Grease the casserole dish with margarine or butter and pour in the prepared dough mixture.

Evenly spread the meat on top.

Put it to bake in preheated oven, on 180C / 356 F and bake it for 40min.

Sour cream topping:
Mix well the sour cream with a spoon or with a fork. Gradually add the milk, until it gets more fluid, like a topping, like this. Salt it acording to your taste.

Milk for soaking: 
Heat 1 dl (0.4) of milk. It should start steaming.
Add 20 gr of margarine, or 10-15 gr of butter to melt in the hot milk.

When the pie is baked pour on it the milk in that way that every part of the pie gets soaked. Let it sit for  5 min until the pie soaks in the milk.

Now comes the sour cream topping.  Pour out the whole amount and spread it evenly.
Put back the pie to the still hot oven and back it for 5 min.
